Job Description: Subledger Accountant (Maternity Leave Contract)

Signode UK Ltd is seeking a Subledger Accountant to join our UK Finance Team on a maternity leave contract for up to one year.

As a Subledger Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close activities. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of subledger transactions

  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis

  • Support internal and external audits as needed

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Professional certification / Qualification in Accounting / Finance is a plus.

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on subledger management.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems.

  • Advanced Excel skills.
