Job description
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Service Technician to deliver high-level technical support for commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and servicing of equipment at customer sites and remotely. This role serves as a key resource for field teams and customers, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead/support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment on-site
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues
Provide technical guidance and training to field technicians and customers
Deliver remote support via phone/email to ensure fast issue resolution
Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and system records
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent technical training
5+ years’ experience with industrial equipment (Signode or similar preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Proficient in English and MS Office
Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-focused
Additional Information
Up to 70% travel required
Work across field, customer site, remote, and office environments
