Service Engineer

As an integral member of the SEA Reliability Service Team, the Service Technician/Engineer shall be responsible for the providing technical support Thailand & SEA customers.

Job description

  • Provide high level technical support to Thailand & SEA customers (as and when required).   

  • Installation, Commissioning & Customer Training.

  • To attend customer complaints and solve the problem with customer satisfaction, Attending Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and resolving problems in the Machines and Tools.

  • Identify and implement upgradation/ retrofit opportunity.

  • Work on long-term relationships with the customer through annual reliability service contracts.

  • Generate Target revenue.

  • Collect feedback from customers & share it with the department concerned.

  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.

  • Performs other duties as necessary or assign by Immediate Superior.

Job requirements

Qualification & Certification (if applicable)

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering or related field.

Experience

  • Total experience : 3 to 5 years

  • Experience in working with special purpose/packaging/pharma/industrial machine installation, commissioning and sales support.

  • Ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and other related specifications.

  • Familiar with PLC/Drive systems.

 

Computer Skills

Proficient in MS Office

Communication & Language Proficiency

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with others

Core Competencies/Skill/Any other attribute relevant to the role

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Possesses drive and initiative to complete the tasks efficiently.

  • Able to work both independently and as a team player.

  • Excellent written and oral communication (English & Local Language).
