Job description

  • Assist Signode’s International Compliance Manager in implementing and maintaining a robust control environment in our international organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive end-to-end walkthroughs to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities at local units or Financial Shared Service Centers.
  • Improve SOX compliance documentation by refining or developing control process and procedures while considering local conditions and requirements.
  • Assist in developing Signode’s control environment and support the preparation of relevant policies, templates, and narratives.
  • Evaluate control related audit findings and coordinate remediation of deficiencies.
  • Execute monitoring controls and internal control questionnaires.

Job requirements

  • Degree in Finance related field or similar education
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Good understanding of internal controls especially SOX, operational and system control procedures
  • Good Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills in English, additional language skills are a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop support and engagement with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, flexible team player, strong project management skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to influence and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently (up to 35% - Appx. 6-8 days a month only during the week)
