The role encompasses the develop and commissioning of the automation solutions portfolio of Signode Packaging Spain.


You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You install and modify software for PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley).
  • You integrate and set up automation components: Motors, VFDs, encoders, etc.
  • You assist the workshop to set up the machines before delivery to sites.
  • You assist the Site Manager and Project Manager on site to check and test the installation before commissioning.
  • You will assist and commissioning on site the system.
  • You keep a strong focus on the final product quality.

Job requirements

  • Senior electromechanical technician or similar education in Mechatronics.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Travel availability is essential.
  • Understanding of PLC architectural style.
  • Good understanding of electrical diagrams.
  • Good understanding in automation technologies: motors, sensors, VFDs, etc.
  • Preferible experience in industrial automation.
