Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to lead our operations in Central and Eastern Europe. As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing business strategies, and leading our commercial team to success in the region. 


  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services tailored to the Central and Eastern European market.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and sales forecasting to maximize profitability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job requirements

  • Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles
  • Extensive knowledge of the Central and Eastern European market, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and cultural nuances.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative business strategies.
  • Fluency in German, English and additional languages spoken in Eastern Europe preferred.
  • Based in Germany or Switzerland
