Job description

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the EMEA region, focusing on specific segments: Logistics (Oriented Film), Metals (Steel Strap), and Chemical and Bags (Stretch Hood). This senior sales role requires extensive collaboration with Sales Engineers and Field Sales teams in each Country Cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts within the assigned segment.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Engineers and Field Sales teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and solutions.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.

  • Customer Engagement: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Signode EMEA and engage with potential customers and partners.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of products and solutions relevant to the assigned segment (Oriented Film, Steel Strap, Stretch Hood).

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in key account management and sales within the relevant segment (Logistics, Metals, Chemical and Bags).

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with Sales Engineers and Field Sales teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as required.

Segment-Specific Requirements:

  • Logistics: Experience with Oriented Film products and solutions.

  • Metals: Experience with Steel Strap products and solutions.

  • Chemical and Bags: Experience with Stretch Hood products and solutions.
