Roles & Responsibilities:

·       Designing electrical control systems, including creating detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts

·       Bill of material preparation, IO list, Sensor list & Signal Exchange

·       Drawing preparation in EPLAN and receiving customers approval

·       Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Release for procurement

·       Developing logic and code for PLC and HMI using industry-standard platforms like Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley

·       Ensuring all electrical designs and automated systems adhere to international safety standards

·       Install, test and commissioning of machines on the shop floor & at site

·       Train operators and engineers on control system

·       Assist with estimates of man-hours required to complete projects

·       Diagnosing and resolving issues with electrical and electronic components (motors, sensors, relays) and automation processes

·       Monitoring the progress of projects

Key result area includes detailed electrical design, automation programming & configuration, shop floor testing and onsite commissioning.

Profile:

1.      Skillset

   ·       Knowledge of Electrical design & drawings in EPlan is must.

   ·       Knowledge of concepts in Automation design & configuration.

   ·       Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI design

   ·       Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET)

   ·       Knowledge of safety standards.

   ·       Knowledge of electrical energy measurement and power distribution

   ·       Live hands-on project experience

   ·       Multi-tasker and flexible.

   ·       Work with plant engineers, external vendors, operators and management

   ·       To work with internal and external customers

   2.      Qualifications

   ·       B. Tech in Electrical & Electronic/Electronic Communication/Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering, Diploma in Mechatronics

   3.       Experience

   ·       2 to 4 years’ experience in conceptual design (EPLAN), PLC, HMI & VFD programming & commissioning.

   ·       Prior Projects – Completed minimum 2-3 projects. Projects on Material handling lines, Packing lines, Process Projects/ machine building.

   ·       Preferred Industries - Steel industry, Food & beverages, Glass industry, System house.

    

   Candidate should be from packaging industry and must have comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing process as well as the various machinery instruments placed at shop floors.
