We are currently looking for a skilled AUTOMATION ENGINEER

to join our team in Masku to develop and enhance industrial products/components according to the Signode Stage Gate Development process. This role includes further development and standardization of Hooding/Wrapping products and subsystems, incorporating the latest product methods and technologies.

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for programming and coding PLC and HMI systems using Siemens and Allen-Bradley, designing new automation equipment, and implementing projects according to the Signode development process. This role involves collaborating with Product Management and sales to gather market data, incorporating specifications, and proactively addressing customer demands. Additionally, the engineer will execute functional testing, support product optimization, lead project meetings, and ensure cost objectives are met throughout development projects.

You will be a part of Signode Technologies Emea team, reporting to the IRD Manager in Denmark.  

Success in this role requires:

•          Industry Experience of min. 5 years in similar kind of Automation Projects specifically with Siemens PLC and Allen-Bradley systems

•          High-level programming skills (C/C++ is a plus)

•          Familiarity with Codesys is advantageous

•          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•          Systematic work habits and a team-oriented mindset

•          Excellent communication skills.

•          Assertiveness and initiative.

•          Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Finnish
