Job description

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Service Technician to deliver high-level technical support for commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and servicing of equipment at customer sites and remotely. This role serves as a key resource for field teams and customers, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead/support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment on-site

  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues

  • Provide technical guidance and training to field technicians and customers

  • Deliver remote support via phone/email to ensure fast issue resolution

  • Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and system records

  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams for continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training

  • 5+ years’ experience with industrial equipment (Signode or similar preferred)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

  • Proficient in English and MS Office

  • Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-focused

Additional Information

  • Up to 70% travel required

  • Work across field, customer site, remote, and office environments
