D365 CE Business Process Lead (Analyst)

Job description

As a global Microsoft Dynamics CE competence center member, the D365 CE IT Business Process Lead will support end users, improve business processes, and design and implement solutions to support critical business strategies focusing on Microsoft Dynamics CE and related solutions. This role includes understanding existing business processes, defining requirements for continued optimization and future changes, evaluating gaps, and determining solutions resulting in new functional designs.

The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience with D365 CE and a broad knowledge of business processes in this space. Proven problem-solving of complex issues involving cross-functional teamwork is required. The candidate must be able to excel in a matrixed work environment.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, business analysis, D365 CE-related education, or equivalent professional experience
  • Deep knowledge of sales and marketing processes and structures
  • Excellent knowledge & accreditation in the Power Platform with an ability to use Java
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with sufficient ability to appropriately and effectively communicate across all organizational levels and functions
  • Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements
  • Works independently and can contribute to the overall success of a global team
  • Ability to communicate with internal customers in a non-technical manner
  • Ability to communicate to developers to define the requirements to be implemented
  • Systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving and system design

  • Experience with Dynamics CE configuration tasks and implications of settings
  • Creation, modification, and maintenance of forms, entities, views, and dashboards in the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement system
  • Utilize Microsoft DevOps to effectively document and deploy solutions as part of a global deployment team
  • Perform CE security role configurations and troubleshooting
  • Create advanced data views/reports/charts and queries on CRM entities where PowerBI experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand integration points to Microsoft Dynamics AX or F&O in the required areas
  • Ability to provide support to Signode locations, which periodically includes after-hours work
  • SOX experience
  • Willingness & ability to travel extensively within Europe (ca. 20-40%) and abroad (ca. 10-20%)

Key CE Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate the delivery of project deliverables required to ensure an effectively functioning CE system
    • Lead development, review, and approval of requirements for the CE system
    • Participates in the analysis and design of any necessary modification; is part of the development team, testing and implementing the required improvements
    • Leads requirements documentation, development of testing plans and scenarios, test execution, and results tracking, ensuring that all aspects of system functions are thoroughly tested through all phases
    • Participates in the development and documentation of security requirements for all users
  • Work with business owners and leaders to provide ongoing review and support of CE processes to ensure the business maintains and improves the use of the delivered solution
    • Conduct ongoing adoption audits
    • Continue to identify optimization opportunities for processes and systems usage
    • Support issue/incident resolution
    • Provide support for assessment and requirements for business-requested changes
  • Keep current with knowledge and expertise critical for success; attend training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to increase related knowledge and other applicable skills
  • Provide application support
  • Perform business analysis and reporting support upon request
  • Support the design of standard templates and forms
